How splix.baeri.eu handles information when you visit the product website or contact Splix.

This notice applies to the Splix product website at splix.baeri.eu, operated by Baeri. It does not replace the Splix app privacy policy, which applies to the Android app. For website privacy questions, contact splix@baeri.eu.
The website does not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or third-party client-side scripts. An ordinary page visit processes only limited technical request data through its hosting and security provider, Cloudflare. This can include IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, and request time.

The deletion page can verify a Splix Sync account using its 24 recovery words. Your browser validates the words, reconstructs the Sync recovery secret locally, creates an ephemeral signing key, and sends the recovery secret and signed challenge directly to the Splix Sync deletion service over HTTPS. The page does not place the words, secret, private key, or temporary deletion token in cookies or persistent browser storage.
The deletion service stores a hash of the recovery secret, the temporary public key, one-time challenge state, and a hashed deletion-only session token for the short authorization window. An authorization expires after 15 minutes; expired temporary state is removed by daily maintenance, normally within 24 hours after expiry. The service can return collaboration roles and display labels needed to resolve ownership or sponsorship. It does not return Trip, Split Group, expense, or other workspace content to the website. The app privacy policy describes cloud-account deletion and retention.
If you email Splix, Baeri receives the information you include, including your email address, and uses it to read and respond to your message. Please do not send sensitive information unless it is necessary for your request.
Technical request data is used to deliver, secure, and diagnose the website. Account-deletion data is used only to verify control, resolve collaboration responsibilities, and complete the requested deletion. Support messages are used to respond to the request and maintain necessary records. We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for those purposes or to meet a legal obligation.
Cloudflare processes technical request data as the website hosting and security provider. Baeri may also use an email-service provider to receive and answer messages. Baeri does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and does not use it for targeted advertising.
Cloudflare operates a global network, so technical request data may be processed outside your country, including outside the EEA or UK. Cloudflare describes its privacy and transfer safeguards in its GDPR information.
Where EU or UK data-protection law applies, we rely on legitimate interests to deliver and protect the website and to respond to correspondence. If consent is required for a future optional feature, we will ask for it first and you can withdraw it at any time.
You may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or to object to processing. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. To make a request, email splix@baeri.eu. We may ask for information needed to verify the request.
Baeri does not sell or share personal information as those terms are used in applicable US privacy laws, and does not use targeted advertising on this website. If a US state privacy law gives you a right to make a privacy request, email splix@baeri.eu.
Because the website does not track visitors across other websites, it does not change its behavior in response to a Do Not Track signal.
